Meet Leland, our family sourdough starter! Leland is a mature sourdough starter that consistently makes the most delicious loaves of bread. Once established, aside from bread, use this starter to add a delicious tang to your muffins, pancakes, biscuits and other baked goods.
In his freeze dried state, Leland is shelf stable for 25 YEARS! Each purchase comes with 20 grams of starter and easy to follow instructions on how to rehydrate it to bring it to life. (And we know life happens, that’s why we send you enough for two starters, use half of the package and set the rest aside for later!)
